The midterm election is just a month away. Join us this Thursday (September 27th) at 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PST for a very timely chat on social work voter mobilizations. I will be hosting the chat (@poliSW). Terry Mizrahi, MSW, Ph.D. (@tmizrahi21141) will be our guest expert.
Terry is Co-Chair of the National Social Work Voter Mobilization Campaign. She is a
Professor and Chair of Community Organizing, Planning, and Development track at Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter College, City University of New York. Terry holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and an M.S. from Columbia University School of Social Work. Her areas of expertise include Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Coalition Building, Community Organizing, Social Work and Health Care Policy, Social Work and Activism, Gender and Feminist Organizing, Physician Socialization and Career Development. Additionally. She has co-authored a number of books and articles including The Handbook of Community Practice and Education for Interdisciplinary Community Collaboration and Development: The Components of a Core Curriculum by Community Practitioners.
